You won't believe this one.
Long day at work.
Tired... Boeing just did a shift change... So traffic is total hell north of Seattle, WA. Grandma driving in the fast lane in front of me at 45 mph... She appears to be keeping pace with the car in the slow lane.... This goes on for miles.... And miles.... I'm obviously very happy about this.... As soon as she moves... I do what comes naturally.... I stomp on the gas and wind it up to make up for lost time This makes me happy... Sure enough..... Washington State Patrol... Anticipating that the Camaro was anxious... He was three lanes over waiting for me to light it up... He decides that the optimal location for him.... Is 10" from my rear bumper... His flashing lights look pretty.... All red and blue.... I pull over... I hand him the appropriate paper-work..... He asks if I knew how fast I was going....? It's kind of hard not to know with the HUD.... But I digress... I'm not exactly sure officer.... He said.... I could hear your pipes open up from three lanes over and five cars back.... I shrug my shoulders sheepishly.... Mr. officer told me to hold tight.... This is going to take awhile to write up..... This makes me sad.... I wait patiently.... And patiently.... He comes back.... He is smiling..... I am not smiling.... He said, "son".... I just bought a 2012 Mustang GT.... I looked really hard at these camaro's...before I bought my car... From the Looks and sound of your car.... I may have made the wrong choice..... I have pulled over a lot of people for going much slower than you were.... And I have to tell you..... I only give out one warning a day.... And today is your lucky day.... You seem to have learned your lesson.... Keep it under the speed limit... This makes me very happy..... And son.... Nice looking car.... So between you and me Camaro Forum... I would have had a hefty ticket... If I didn't own a camaro.... I'm keeping this car. J
