I don't think the OP actually believes that they are real, so get a grip. Besides, the MAJORITY of people in the world believe in things that do not exist, ie, men with long white beards in space looking down on our speck of dust, seeing who is and who is not.

That's still a funny picture, but the engineer/nerd inside of me ruined it for myself . If you really were in a zombie apocalypse, eventually the power would go out and you'd be left with powerless treadmills. Even if you had a generator it would run out of gas eventually... then you'd have to go out and get more gas when there's a pile of pissed off, physically fit zombies outside your house.

btw...I do know zombies aren't real...yet and if it does happen, at least I'll be prepared haha...and all you haters will be like....... ....If not, it will always be a cool collectors item for me and I'll have had fun doing something different and unique to mine.

It is possible. There are known parasites that affect the behavior of their hosts. Toxoplasmosis caused by the parasite Toxoplasmosis Gondii is just one that we know of, and directly affects the behavior of mammals, including humans.

So it is not too far of a stretch to think that a parasite such as this could mutate, and cause humans to become raving brain-eating savages as a means of spreading to other humans and other mammals at some point.
