Rooms are still available at Candlewood Suites, Garth Road for $107 per night. ph. 281-421-2300. Hotel is located a couple of miles south of I-10 on Garth Road. Hennessey said they will attempt to participate in C5 Fest but already had another commitment that weekend. I guess that means probably not for the HPE Camaro folks.

Same reservation here, just cancelled today.Wife had a medical issue come up and had to have surgery.

Hope next years is just as close,8hrs or less.

I was planning on a Murica vs Canada smack down with Tim Power aka DBL CHBY, but was informed over the weekend he can not attend. So I will be bailing as well.

I just called the Motel 6 Baytown West to cancel my reservation that was made back when the hotel was a La Quinta. When the switch was made, I received an email from LaQuinta saying that the reservation would be switched over to Motel 6. When I called, they had no such reservation on file and the gentleman I spoke to informed me that last week they had a bunch of people in town for the races and many people who thought they had reservations were completely assed out. If you think you have a reservation with this hotel, PLEASE call and confirm!!
