Shifter installed! Was going to take pics of the install, but I followed these to the T:

The alignment springs were the only part that was extra, as we all know. I just used a 5/16th hex drive to take out the two screws holding the springs in place. The instructions said they weren't needed for the hurst shifter, so I left them out.

Works perfect and I love it!

Oh, and I was able to do it without loosening the rear transmission cross member bolts

I'll get a picture of the finished install this weekend. And i'm still looking for a knob. I'll just get a custom one probably. I tried calling Hurst customer service and they are a pain to get a hold of...

So far so good! I can feel each shift more. And it's a bit loud when shifting, which I like. But they did send some dyno-mat stuff to wrap around the parts that make the noise, which I didn't install. Lol. Shifting smooth is no problem. I have yet to shift hard with it. I either have to find a deserted road, or go to the track when they open to the public again.
