Transmission cooler line HELP!!

When I disconnect the 2 cooler lines from the bottom radiator does it supposed to drain coolant also? Or does that drain the radiator completely because I am connecting them to a trans cooler

Trans cooler is a separate unit inside the radiator. There shouldn’t be any coolant at all on those lines.

Are you still using the factory cooler or bypassing it completely? If you still go through the factory one first make sure you get the lines right and it passes through factory first then aftermarket cooler then back to trans.

I want to remove the two bottom hoses coming out from the radiator and connect them directly to the mishimoto trans cooler and to the black fittings hose fittings by passing the radiator is that the correct way to do it?

Only thing you should get from those lines is tranny fluid.

That's strange I wonder that's why my transmission died it's an aftermarket radiator I haven't seen any coolant in the fluid or is it that coolant surrounds the aluminum cooler while those stock lines are connected?

The trans line is a quick connect fitting. The adapter screws into the trans cooler which seals it inside the radiator. To remove the trans line, you need to remove the clip and pull the tube out.

Make sure the manifold? for the trans inside the radiator is seated properly in the holes... And that when you put the adapters back in, you included the washers. You could have cracked the radiator at the holes if it isn't seated correctly

Sounds like you need a new radiator.
