Don't fret it #3. The site is full of Camaro/GM enthusiast who still keep the faith. They don't get as noticed because they don't post without something constructive or on topic to say. Negative posts are made by a fraction of the community.

To the OP, I hope everything works out well without too much heart ache.

I had a number of spots on my hood, roof and trunk (particularly the trunk). After a careful wash, Meguiar's paint cleaner, Zaino clay bar, Meguiar's Scratch X and Zaino polish they have either disappeared or are barely noticeable. I thought the spots were from pollen. They had a crusty layer that once removed still left an etching in the top finish.

Good luck OP in getting something worked out.

I saw an Aqua blue which one of our members received 2 weeks ago and I noticed a tiny perfectly round circle about 1/8 of an inch round with no paint on it. The owner said it was road rage but I travel accross country every year from NY to AZ and believe me I know what road rage is. No way it looks more like a miss or a perfect air bubble, to round and perfect to be road rage. Sorry GM you guys need to do more inspections before shipping.

My SIM 2ss had a bad spot in the paint about 2" in diameter on the drivers rear quarter. was a real eyesore in sunny weather. they tried to buff it out but it was the paint. almost looked like someone used a brush to wipe off a drip. I'm getting it repainted and its getting done by an outside shop. vin 1771.
