GM Authority: 2017 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE Pricing Won’t ‘Mirror’ Fifth-Generation
Not a big shock. So much for rumors of a sub $40k 1LE. GMA seems to think it will be under $5k which I still think is a steal. I'm a buyer at less than $42k with PDR. If it's over that I'm stepping up to a 2SS and just going to go load that up. And the "not a lot higher" is very encouraging.
http://gmauthority.com/blog/2016/02/...th-generation/ When asked if there was a ballpark range in regards to 2017 Camaro 1LE pricing, Oppenheiser responded with, “It’s not going to mirror the fifth-gen, the fifth-gen was frankly a steal. It was $3,500 as an option. It was an incredible value, more than I wanted,” and finished his thought with a chuckle. “Because of the level of technology offered in the sixth-generation, and that we’ve elevated the performance in this new 1LE, the price is going to be higher. Not a lot higher, we want to sell a lot of them, but you can expect it to be a little higher than the fifth-gen,” he added. Last edited by Eric SS; 02-16-2016 at 03:31 PM. |

For what you get in the package it will be worth it. I just knew there was no way a sub 40K SS 1LE was happening

I'm guessing between 47k - 50k based on available options, less 1SS trim, plus additions back from 2SS not included in 1SS, brakes, wheel/tire, seats, optional PDR, plus the cost of forced MRC, etc.

"A little higher" isn't double. So if this package comes in under 7k, it's going to be a smokin' hot deal, and they should sell like crazy to enthusiasts!

That's what I was thinking. 100% increase isn't a little. 50% maybe? that would be an awesome deal.

I'm sticking to my original guess of 4-5K This car won't cost high 40's

My guess is the 1LE will come in at $42 to $43k without PDR. Not sure what the PDR option is on the vette? $1000.00? No way it will be close to $40K or high 40's

I'm happy. I was prepared to go high 40's for a 2SS 1LE. The limited availability of only a 1SS will force me to keep the cost a little lower. I will be opting for Navigation and PDR so I may end up close to 45,000

I agree with $5-6k plus PDR for my guess. I looked up the PDR cost last week...it is $1,795.

Yeah, at $4.5k on a 1SS, and you're at $41.5k. I'm ok with that.

By percentage, $5K would be a 40% increase over $3500, and an absolute steal. |
