Newcomer

Greetings: I have been visiting this site for about a month and doing research on a 2018 ZL1 and, due to the great information here, I have now joined and ordered a 2018 ZL1 A10 in Hyperblue. Only problem I have now is staying at work while I wait. Coming from a 2012 CTSV coupe with mods that ran 172 in the Texas mile, and looking forward to over 180 with the ZL1. Again, thanks for all the great threads, and the laughs. I'm looking forward to enjoying this site as much as my wife will tolerate.

I'm out in the country north of Dallas. Have used Andy at ADM in Lewisville on other cars and been really impressed.

Congratulations!

Don't get your hopes too high on the "over 180" at the Texas Mile. My best was 173.9 and I think the highest stock times may have been 176 or so. Would take a lot to get our cars (with so many sq.in. of frontal area) to 180 or so I think!

Anyway, congratulations and hope you take delivery soon!

Thanks to all for such a great welcome. Already stockpiling parts for it. For the 180 goal, I am using Andy at ADM in Lewisville, who feels confident that it can be achieved with a RotoFab CAI, lower pulley, tune and miscellaneous tweaks. Prior great experience with him. Can't wait to get to Victoria and find out! Hope all you guys that have been there will return. It would be great to visit with y'all.
