Camaro, unlike most other cars is a specialty car. A lot are driven year round but many are put for the winter months.
The summer tires don't help.
Do you think sales will fall during the months of winter driving ? Of course in climates where that's not a factor it shouldn't matter.
Would that mean more cars would be ordered in the SE and SW during that time.
I think the sales demographics during this winter will be interesting to study.

take a look, this is already happening. many cars available on lots in the north but dealers are still asking markups for cars in the south.

If you want a 2010 now, look in the north!

I was at a dealership the other day that had 3 Camaros on their lot. I asked the salesman the same question. His response was that they will sell well in December because some actually buy them as Christmas gifts. Santa was never so good to me.

My ex girlfriends dad bought his wife a 2004 maybe C5 convertible as a christmas gift... or maybe it was an ass kissing gift after getting caught with another woman... either way, nice gift!

I got to drive it before his wife. My g/f and I took it out the night he gave it to her.

I think sales will compare favorably with other like cars. But I do think some people will wait till spring up here in the northeast. I think inventory will be shifted around so that southern dealers can get the product they need form overstocked northern dealerships.
