Couple of questions

Is the main parking lot only for holiday inn guests?
If people use cones to block off "their" spots, does the parking lot get overfilled?

I cannot get their on the start date and don't want to be driving around looking for a parking spot longer than the drive to the fest.

The only part that is for guests only is the Trailer Parking section.

Also, the night time festivities are on the convention center side. This will be Camaros only and will be packed. It also makes parking on the Hotel side a bit more open so no worries there.

One of the reasons we like this location is there is a ton of parking.

There's plenty of parking. People just like to set up camp with their buddies.

Since my post was deleted via the server issue, I'll somewhat re-iterate for the Hilton Garden Inn,
I reserved my room at 155 plus tax and all a night, which is way more expensive than last year. I believe that Mlee is or will be soon working on it to block off an area. the sales administrator had no idea about what was going on. he vaugly recalls last years event on how our Camaro fest booked most of the rooms for those days..
hopefully we can do something soon so I can rebook it at the normal rate it was last year.

So for the people booking hotel rooms and planning vacations we are currently talking about making it a full weekend and will possible be taking a cruise on Sunday. Some of us aren't leaving until Monday. We did a cruise 2 years ago and it was a blast. Just still something in the works. Last year we were booked until Monday and the Holiday Inn was fine with us leaving on Sunday.
