cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....

wishful thinking, but I seriously doubt it. I guarantee this car will not average 21.2 mpg in stop and go driving. I thought FBodFather already said the car will get 23 mpg highway?

That said, 21.2 average mpg does indeed look impressive on the gauge, and if I typically get that mileage in mixed city/highway driving I'd be ecstatic!

Im so happy where the lock button is. Its soo much more unique and i was actually hoping for it to be intergrated into the middle of the car as well as the window buttons but where the lock button is great for me. When your in the car, believe me, you wont be dissapointed with anything that is placed in the car. Everything is where it needs to be and was placed tastefully.

Why does it seem like th rest of America is getting a feel of this car except me?! lol I'm not feeling the lock/unlock button, but not enough to change my mind about this car. I like all my buttons to the left because I'm lazy. I want my heated seats, windows, locks- -hell i wish my sunroof controls were there too. like this:

Think of it this way, It is easily accessable. It is right there always visible to the driver AND passenger, Your arm dosen't block it at any time, you can't accidently hit it with your elbow..Plus it saved money per each car. even if one switch cost 2 dollars and the wiring cost 50 cents that 2.50 saved on every car. multiply that by 100,000 cars and see how much money GM saved.... a quarter million dollars.... It's the little things that will save a company that we don't even think about. We think why didn't they add this or why didn't they add that.. maybe now you can see why.
This isn't the first time a central lock button has been used on a GM car. My Fiero Had one on the console. I liked it there.

Hmmm.....

Will this because problematic in winter months if snow/ice is built up on the window? That would make me a bit uncomfortable, especially living in NW NJ. I would think that an engineer has already thought of this...
