Went in to order yellow and came home with CRT. Anything but black or silver and I'm happy. Love black but just can't keep up with cleaning it.

That was my first color choice but at the time I was buying couldn't locate one to my liking. Never really considered red but when I saw the VR in person I fell in love! No regrets.

I have a black top, if that's any consolation.

I like all the colors, but I do have preferences. Yellow or CRT was my top color choices. Ended up finding a CRT M6 and at least all the options I would have ordered on one and more. I don't regret it in the least. It's a beautiful color IMO.

I really like my BRM. I was looking at two ZL1's when I bought this one. I ended up with this one cause I didn't want the headache of keeping a black car clean.

Was between BRM and AGM, since I loved my CGM from my last Camaro. There is something about BRM when it shines in the sun and takes in different shades of blue and purple in different times of the day. It just looks phenomenal

I don't own a Z but if you wanted a specific color why not go out of state? I have a few friends who bought SS's and they tell me "I bought it cus it was the only one they had" to Me that's garbage. If you want something bad enough you'll do whatever it takes to get it.....but that's just my opinion..

I am happy with the AGM it looks almost black at night and has a green side tone to it.

BRM & AGM would have been my first 2 choices. I purchased mine used and Black........ When it is clean it's beautiful...

Not necessarily. Ask all those people (including myself) who wanted a Blue or Crystal Red 2012 ZL1. 11/11/11 ordered blue. Blue was dropped as a color. Changed order to Crystal red, it goes on constraint. Then the QC hits, no more 2012's. Searched for two months for a CRT ZL1. Finally settled for a black one.

That's quite a different scenario than what he originally posted. That scenario makes perfect sense as to why you ended up with a different color.
