m6 lifter swap

well i had to pull my motor....
among other things that are getting upgraded I'm looking to do ls7 lifters
i have an m6 and don't know if i need a new valley pan since my lifters don't shut down. can i just swap them and leave my current valley pan the way it is...

You can use the stock valley cover if you purchase the DOD delete plugs. You will also need to change the cam. If you want to keep it stock, BTR offers a gen V DOD delete cam that has stock specs designed for 16 standard hydraulic lifters and a 32% fuel lobe(optional).

well im looking for what i would consider a smooth idle blower cam
i want to keep vvt
im looking to make like 650 - 700 wheel
and drivability is the most important thing
i have full lt4 fueling and boost a pump
im not sure what i need as far as a fuel lobe

i dailly drive this car 8 months out of the year

probably going to do gpi pistons and rod combo
stock compression

im going to give my heads to ted and do a mild port and any other needed head mods
springs etc...

We strive to be as complete as possible so it is one stop shopping, selecting only the finest parts on the market, Thank you.

I have my reservations about aftermarket head bolts and studs which is a whole other subject which I am happy to advise on an individual basis.

If you want them we have them but we typically save them for the max Effort builds.

Ted.
