Pics from tonight's HDR (07-29-2010)
Fantastic turnout tonight. Lots of new faces. Final tally. 22 cars tonight.
Some pics from tonight. I really need to get a tripod to hold the camera steady for the night shots. First off, This beautiful 69 Camaro SS. Thanks for bringing it out Tony. Just a bunch of vettes with drivers that can't park between the lines. Can't have an HDR without my Durango. At least for now. The red '87 belongs to Vicki. She's new. Tommy's C5 and Mike's G8. Then there's Randy's '95, Daryn's '03, Jeff with his B4C cop Camaro and that's Tony's '69 at the end. Randy in his Hot Doggers t-shirt. On the back, it should say class clown. Corrado, Steve and Paul, aka The Late Commers. There was only a few of us that could fit on Front Street. The rest of us were relegated to the parking lot across the street. Randy mugging for the camera. Glad you made it just on time Jan. 2nd HDR but first time you actually made it to the hot dog stand. Sorry, no pics of your beast tonight. Thanks for coming out everyone. |

I don't think a tripod would have made a difference, I think they're maybe something wrong with your camera. Stan, you always take good pics, and never blurry.
Tony, does have a sweeet car, I met him last Sunday, we parked beside each other, so people can compare the past with the future, it's gorgeous.

With a tripod, I can set the camera to take maximum exposure shots without having to worry about me shaking the cam. Now just to go out and spend the $50 or so for a decent tripod. Also helps to not take pics at night facing a light source. Photography 101. But it does give Randy a bit of an aura around him. |

Was good to FINALLY make it to the hot dog stand. Love that 69 but felt really sorry for him on Yonge "Construction" St with his 40 year old suspension. Even with my modern suspension I got a good shake.
I got a good chuckle out of a comment I heard on the drive there. As Tony and I (he was right behind me) passed a couple guys on the side of Yonge we both heard something to the effect of "Now that's more like it! *expletive* Corvettes"! But don't tell the Vette guys that.
