Four Fastest Fifth Gen Camaro event
The four fastest 5th Gen Camaros were selected this morning for the fastest 5th Gen heads-up race.
The vehicles are: Lingenfelter LS9 Camaro SS LMR Camaro SS Paul Murphy's supercharged 427 Lingenfelter Camaro SS ARD Camaro SS |

1st round of Fastest 5th Gen competition
The first round is complete on the Fastest 5th Gen Camaro competition and it is going to be an all Lingenfelter, all supercharged, all nitrous final round with Paul Murphy's supercharged 427 Camaro against the LPE LS9 Camaro..
The LPE LS9 Camaro ran a 9.942 at 145.52 mph. John Ebert is still getting used to the new faceplated transmission that we installed last night. This is just our second pass using this transmission. Paul's supercharged 427 Camaro SS ran its 1st 9 second pass. Great competition and sportsmanship from the LMR and ARD teams. 2nd round should be coming up soon. I'll try to post pictures and time slips soon. Videos won't be until Monday. |

Paul's Camaro SS 1st round run time
Paul Murphy ran a 9.999 at 143.92 mph in his 427 supercharged 6L80E Camaro SS for his 1st round win.
Great job Paul. Your best run yet despite the air temp and humidity. |

I think they should just give you the championship now....after all....LPE should appreciate your business and be satisfied that you went there!  The customers should be the real winners! LOL

final round results of GMHTP Fastest 5th gen shoot-out
The LPE LS9 Camaro SS won the GM High Tech Performance fastest fifth gen Camaro shoot-out but Paul's Camaro was close behind. If Paul had been faster off the line it would have been a very close race.
