Car looks awesome. I have been wanting to hydro dip my interior carbon fiber for a long time. Only thing I am wondering is will you still be able to see the back lit lighting through it? I see that you did it on your 3 traction and suspension switches. Can you see the back lighting through the hydro dip? Or did you just abandon the back lighting. That is a major problem with the bezels around the radio that I am worried about. Will i lose the ability to see the marks by my AC controls and that stuff?

Thanks I really appreciate any help!

Just finished reading all 6 pages of this thread. Man this Z turned out sick. I don't know if i would have the balls to tear apart a brand new car let alone a Z as soon as i got it. Took some serious gonads but wow it turned out amazing. Thank you for sharing. Hope it gives you many years of permagrin.

Hey man, yeah I lost the button light once I dipped it, heads up display shows me which mode I'm in so I didn't really need the light. I do wish it showed though, would make it look like the carbon came like that from stock. Hope this helps.

The real problem is losing the back lighting, now you have to get someone who can pinstripe it with the lettering to see during the day, but while still missing the backlighting. However it looks really , really nice! What to do?

Are you going to ghost the LED's? You should consider adding the three little LED's to the outside inner edge like I did, just a thought. You will have to add another wire thru the door for this LED. Good luck, take care.

Love what you did with the car. Where did you get the seat belts from? Can you send me the link?
