I think the edge goes to the GTI
I ran one in my c4 corvette(they are supposed to be corvette killers) and walked him. This is when my corvette was stock(i ran consistent 13.8s all night and most ss camaros around 13.7s) so you can see it was hot that night Now that my corvette has a 383 and a cam even SS camaros give me a dirty look at the next stop light >

I raced a GTI. Not sure what was under the hood, but I know it was an 09 or 10. I won, with his bumper being at my door around 50, then I started to slowly pull away. I have the A6 LLT, all stock. But like the others said, just take it to the track. It should be a good one.
