( whole different thread! lol)

Congrats again on your purchase!!
Rob

I actually worked with Jeff. He was a great guy and seeing that this was my first ever purchase they were great. I'm curious to ask... what's up with the service department? I found a small scratch on the rear that they are going to touch up on Friday so any word of advice on them would be great.

Clutch issues...
There's several threads out here relating to bad\slipping clutches, wrong engagement, pedals not returning etc. so I won't bore you too much, but....

The guys at Burt's looked at my car's clutch, bled the slave, and although it's better, it's still not right. I drove my buddy's 1SS and his clutch is butter-smooth. Mine sux!
The official stonewall I got is "..that's the way a high-performance car's clutch works".
Typical corporate BS!!! Thanks, but I seriously doubt the hydraulic clutch in my production car is supposed to feel harder and engage worse than the one I had in my blown, injected 'Cuda! Nice try. Just another reason to go aftermarket with stuff and nix the GM warranty. GM has had clutch issues since the last Gen's cars, and they simply continue trying to cover it up.
Ok, sorry,,,,too much of a soap-box rant already this morning!
The other little stuff they fixed was fine, so hopefully your issue will get resolved also. ( Dan, service guy, was nice enough about it, but I didn't get a chance to talk to the Service Manager in person. He never answers his phone or returns calls. He just sends those standard corporate "Thanks for your patronage" emails. )

I'd be good to go but can someone run by me what the whole Adam's polishes thing is? Also maybe a rough cost estimate?

Saturday Adam's Polishing Info

Could someone re-post the number of the ITEM that had the details or the actual info regarding Saturday morning's event please?? That way us newbies don't have to hunt an hour for it. I will probably be late anyway, 'cause 9AM in Boulder means "BF-Early" from where I live. I'd love to drive in the pack, but I'm way too cold-blooded in the morning to be on the road by 6:30.
Thanks

Don't feel your stuck to anyone dealer. There are probably a few on this site who could recommend a different dealer. I'm up here in Longmont and luckily I haven't had any serious issue that caused me to go to Hajek where I bought the car. I did hear from some vette guys the Purifoy up this way knows their stuff.
