Garth you are killin me!

Hey I hope you dont mind but when I was at Jarods picking up my car on friday, I saw your car in there so I was checking it out and noticed you had something odd on the top of your engine. Some boxy looking thing. Anyway, I removed it for you so now your engine looks like everyone elses again!

Nice! Doing a custom tune or the kit? Were your side stripes painted at Purifoy? ...... looks familiar.
I see tires in your future....

Thanks! After I get some headers and cats I'll probably get her dyno tuned. Tried contacting RMCR about tuning but a week later and still no reply. She sat at the Purifoy paint jail for several weeks for the stripes but they came out great!

Here's Mike's cell # at RMCR, 719-651-7699. Try to call him around 5 pm if you can't reach him during the day. It is just him and Mark at the shop and they are really busy, hard to answer the phone when they are all greasy.

Thanks mtcwby! Still trying to figure out if I should go with a 3.4 or a 3.6 pulley with the long tubes.

I see it's a little cramped in your garage. I'll take that chevelle off your hands for you. I had a 69 but I love the yr of the one you have.

Let Mike and Mark help you with that decision.

Congrats!

You might check with BumbleB, he's messing with his pully size too and using RMCR. I've got to check closer, but I think I'm getting about 11.5 psi with a 2.95" pully (mid 13's at sea level). Haven't gotten a chance to really push things yet. In general you gain about 1 psi for every .1 inch change in pully size, but long tubes will cause some boost loss while gaining some HP at the same time. My shorties lost about 1.5 lbs of boost before swapping things around. LTs don't gain as much power with superchargers as you would think since they run better with backpressure, unless of course you also crank up the boost to get the most bang for your buck on the LTs.

Thanks for all the info. I'd like to be around 550 rwhp. If I can get that at this altitude, I'll be happy.

Werent you at Southlands on Sat? We tried to find you but couldn't.

Im sure we will hook up sooner or later!

All these damn superchargers.....I guess those of us naturally aspirated engines are the minority!

Car looks great!

I'm still on the fence with the cam. Worried about longevity. But this look would be nice when you hit the pedal. 500hp at the wheels without a power adder would be sweet!
