Not the case. It's emissions, it could effect any component related to the powertrain warranty. Plus, messing with emissions is a federal thing and can cause other problems especially if you live in a state with any type of visual inspection. I've done things like this in the past, but I have been well aware of the possible consequences.

Im aware of the it may not pass emmissions but wouldnt a borla system that deletes the secondary cats do the same thing

I have my secondary cats deleted and i have no Cels as long as the wleds are good it will not throw a code worth the money makes the npp sound alot better
