I raced an M5 at the track not to long ago, he was was running high 12s at 113-114... we had 2 good runs, I beat him once with a good start... he pulled me when I blew the start but still took him till the 1/8th. A bolt-on M6 SS with a good tune can take one, I did without a tune! But at top end on the highway, I dont know... might need a cam for that one.

One thing I did notice is Awd75's camaro is m6 vs yours that's an l99, could by why your camaro lost to your m5? The m6 does have better top end. Either way nice rides you got! Lol

From a dig--> SS...From a roll to big boy numbers the M5 raped it. You must account for the gears in the BMW. Seven forward gears and a V10. I have a hard time with a bolt on SS beating an M5 from a roll all things being equal. M5's aren't drag cars, so beating one in the 660 or 1320 isn't that impressive. You can't really load and launch an M5 like you can the camaro.
Like I said maybe a freakishly fast Camaro or a really slow M5, lol.

I looked
Stock for stock the ls3 with a decent driver does better on the track. Thats proven on threads here. If you like punching it and thinking that takes skill on the track ok. As for me I think I'll shift.

Bench race much? You track your car? Post some slips then talk to me about who's faster on a track.
