LS7 to be produced at Bowling Green

GM’s 7.0-liter LS7 engine, which was adapted from the LS7 used in the C6 Corvette Z06. The engine -- SAE-certified 505 horsepower (376 kW) and 481 lb-ft of torque (652 Nm) -- will be built by hand at the new Performance Build Center within GM’s Bowling Green assembly plant.

Here is the source:

I guess there will be enough to fill orders for the new Z/28

also mentioned in Fbodfather's post about the pricing of the Z/28

Someone's off-camber, here. Reuss, in his video interview with Source Interlink/Motor Trend editors back in August, said the PBC in Wixom was extended to specifically build the Z/28 LS7s...

Bad@ss, I read the same thing and thought likewise.
Lowdown, you are right but that was in August...months ago.
Maybe they finally recognized the potential sales volume of the Z/28. At $75,000 they are making a good profit, or management would not have green lighted the price. Here's hoping they do assemble more than what they have said in the past.
In their previous statements I don't seem to see where they EVER said that the LS7 would not be built in Bowling Green.

NHmmm, listening to that segment LowDown one will notice that he said something like Wixom will build the last of the LS7's.... in its CURRENT design/form. Maybe we'll see a next iteration of an LS7 in the 2015 Z/28's???
