You should probably give more details... the whole rear end? or just the differential inside the housing? Setting up new gears? Do you have all the tools such as a case spreader?

When doing that much work, really pays to have a service manual. I would order a manual from an online dealer. That will then give you every detail and tq spec... which fasteners have to be replaced...

The short story is - Lower the exhaust, disconnect drive shaft at the diff, get the knuckle out of the way, remove the rear axles , then remove the diff.

Some of the fasteners are one time use, such as the drive shaft bolts at the diff, and any other D/S nuts and bolts you remove. The axle nuts have to be replaced. The D/S needs to be marked before unbolting, so it all goes back together in the same orientation. You have to be real carefull pulling the axles from the diff, the splines can tear up the seals. There is a special protector sleeve/tool that can be used or just being very carefull so the splines don't touch the seal.

Then you'll need all the tq values for reassembly. I don't have the manual in front of me now. But really, the best thing you can do, is buy the service manual. Invaluable when modding, and you can always sell it later.
