l99 dyno with tsp headers

Hey I was wondering if anyone has done a dyno and tune with the tsp 1 7/8 headers or 2" ones. if so how do you all like the sound and is it worth the $769 or sould I go with a american made header that is $400 more?

I also have a Vararam intake, ported throttle body, and outlaw axleback exhaust.

I have heard great things about TSP but I went with the JBA 1 7/8 headers and it sounds amazing and I got more horsepower than I was expecting (from feel, haven't dyno'd it yet) especially since it was only $550! For me I couldn't justify paying $1000+ on Kooks and those other "high end" headers especially since all that extra money is only for the name and American Made label. Granted there is sometimes a power difference but it's usually minimal: a couple horsepower... definitely not worth the extra money to me.

Also I'm not sure of the price difference between the 1 7/8" and 2" headers but from what I've read the power difference is minimal especially when compared to the difference between 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" headers so keep that in mind when making your purchase!

I think you can get the 1 7/8 or the 2" for the same price. Minimal difference in power until you get into FI or a major engine build. They say the 1 7/8 is the best size for a NA motor with basic bolt ons.

Well camaro actual said that he has 2" tsp headers, and loves them, if they are the same price why go for 1 7/8th?
P.s. I probably wont get anymore mods after this except maybe gears.

I Might have gotten 1 7/8 if they were cheaper but since TSP charges the same for both, there is no down side to getting 2", that is unless you dont want as much power

Well if there is no difference in price there really is no reason to go with 1 7/8! Go big or go home!

You will lose some bottom end with the 2" versus thee 1 7/8.the 2" will only beat the 1 7/8 at or above 5500 rpm 2" arefor fi or racing. In fact on a thread here the doug thorleys 1 3/4 made more power than the dt 1 7/8
