Brake Caliper Cover Price

Why do brake caliper covers cost so much? I've been wanting to get some, but the only ones I've seen are around $200 Also, which color do you think would look best for a Silver Ice Metallic car? Would red look weird? I want it to stand out a bit.

I like the red. Gives it great contrast with the tail lights and theme im going with. They sure cut down on brake dust, really easy for me to tell that because of the white wheels. These are the only good pics i have showing them a bit. Good quality part and installed them without removing my wheels

Because they don't sell a million of these a month . Like other stuff. I agree pricey . But well worth it , keeps brake dust down & looks nice .

I had the Black ones on my car , sold them & got custom painted ones .

If your going to buy any do it right the 1st time , Pay for custom painted ones.. The best deal is LUPE,, on here , River City creations ..$320.00 , Painted & shipped . Here's a pic of my new ones , go great with the new wheels .. No regrets....

I personally don’t like the look of caliper covers, I prefer painted calipers. But if u are set into covers, id say red will look fine.

Paint them, less than 40 bucks if you buy the G2 kit from ebay and paint them by yourself. I used to have the covers, then I painted them. Very happy with the paint. Didnt like at all the covers.

Just painted mine with Duplicolor kit yesterday. Came out awesome but took 4hrs with proper cleaning, scuffing, and 3 coats each. Now I'm getting the high temp decals cuz it looks too plain. Still way cheaper and will last a long time based on my last car.

Yea I didn't want to spend the money for caliper covers, so I just got hi temp brake paint and then ordered high-temp Brembo decals off eBay for like 12 bucks (there are some cheaper than that but I wanted high-temp) I decided to be different and go with silver calipers with the silver car it really helps pop the gloss on the rims and adds a little more contrast to the wheels in general. It also looks great rolling with the silver backdrop behind the rims. I just don't have the Brembo stickers on in this picture but you an still see the main idea.

bought a couple of sets used off of C5 forum. One set was $40 the other $75. Wasn't all that into covers but for around $50 they are ok. Still looking for a real set of Brembos to put on
