Cam Swap Results L99
I have seen a few posts on here asking about what people can expect from various mods. I thought I would post my dyno results just for information. Cam is a Texas Speed 1.2 VVT. Exhaust is 1 3/4" bbk long tubes with high flow cats and Corsa cat back system. Intake is a cold air inductions.

Those are damn good numbers for a Stage 1 cam. Any chance we can get a video of idle?

425/398, did I read that correctly? Like others said, not bad for a stage 1 cam. How do you like it? Can you post an idle video please?

Well crap...I didnt realize I was reading 'Crank Values'
I have never seen that on a dyno sheet before. So 394 rwhp, and 425 corrected?

Car feels great pulls way harder over 4000rpm. As requested here's the idle video.
https://youtu.be/OJQ8MY1B5AE Yes 425 rear wheel hp with (WCF) and 398 trq with (WCF). Last edited by WS86; 08-26-2018 at 05:34 PM. |

That’s on a mustang dyno which are always low.
I have this cam. Well worth the money. |

The correction factor is for weather i.e temperature and humidity mainly. Its a way so that you can compare two power numbers apples to apples because if the temperature or humidity is high at one place you can get a different number than another where its cooler and dryer. The dyno software can automatically correct for those variables and calculate a corrected value.

On a humid day. 440 to the rear wheels but it was on a DynoJet. 440 is near the low end from what I hear.
I am more than happy with it. Last edited by punk5150; 08-29-2018 at 06:26 AM. |
