In case you were wondering about the type of maintenance these guys do, DONT. These guys did such a good job on the custom work to my exhaust system, i dont just let anyone touch my wheels unless i talk to whoever is doing it and gustavo (their master exhaust technician) definitely knows his stuff. I live about a 5 minutes walk from these guys and the area they are located is safe as well. whoever ends up working with these gentlemen will not be dissapointed!

Kev, is this who did your exhaust? It sounded pretty good. And, where were you Friday? We did your meet up at PitStop. You were UA young fella.
Obzen, I agree $790 is a pricey, but with installation it sounds "fair". A better deal would be for the test fit car to be free, and some sort of sponsorship. Run...glad we're good bro. After reading some of what I wrote, I even thought it was a bit too overblown.

So I was the lucky one who took the bait. I just arrived home in Murrieta from one of the most absolutely OUTSTANDING rides ever.
For those who don't know me, I'm an ass. I am extremely demanding with any work I have done; don't believe me, just ask my cardiologist. After speaking with the boys at ARK Performance, I set an appointment and took the leap. From the time I arrived with my granddaughter Dakota, the staff was professional as to the setup of my 2010 RS/2SS. For the record, Trixie is a Summit White/IOM SS. She breaths in through an InGen CAI, and out via a set of Doug Thorley stainless steel/ceramic shorties which are mated to high flow cats from JBA . All this was finished off through OEM cat-back system, which was about to change. The transformation took less than hour and a half. The grin it left is still going strong. The result is fan-frickin-tastick! Guys and gals I have owned some of the true classics of the Chevy world, everything from a 68 RS/SS/Z28 convertible, to three C6s. Thirty-two vehicles in all. Each one with its own list of tweaks. The most recent, a Z06 with a monster list of drive train upgrades. This little LS3 sounds better than all of them. In searching for the right description the only one that comes close is "beautifly bi-polar'. The smooth rumble as it idles, transforming to an threatening growl as you move 'normally' through the gears, and finally twisting devilishly into an all out fire breathing beast. One actually has to look for the right conditions for this setup to drone. Overall I must say that the guys at ARK Performance have absolutely created one of the smoothest, smile inducing rigs this guy has seen in a lifetime. Great job guys! PS. Dakota says , "grandpa, your car sounds like its mad at you, now go faster!"

Congrats! I'm glad it worked out for someone. Any news on the sponsorship?
