What's really frustrating is the fact that the weather here in KC, MO has been superb all Winter. Here it is March 13th with an afternoon high of 80°F; light winds, clear to partly cloudy... perfect all week! You couldn't ask for better conditions to unleash the BEAST! Oh well, I suppose that I can watch the Nurburgring video over & over & flip through my "rare" ZL1 specific brochure...

I for one am happy about the QC hold. I have not spent this much time in the fetal position crying since that evening in TJ with the transexual hooker.

this thread is going to be 9000 pages if they hold lasts too long ha ha.

Why do you think they can not be built???

They have built 480 already and they are just on a QC hold, they have not crushed or destroyed. They are not back to day one. GM found something that they want to address prior to shipping. It is a process.

You really need to relax.

"Breath In, Breath Out, Move On"

You will get your car.

I learned along time not stress on stuff.....It is like being deployed in the military and your are set to return home and something comes up....deployment extended. Not much you can do about it and complaining about it does not make it better. It puts more stress on you and people around you. You do get home but it may be a bit later. My worse deployment extension was 3 months on an aircraft carrier and we were at sea the entire time. And guess what I had a new car waiting for me that I purchased while overseas and planned to pickup on the original return date, well guess what it sat at the dealer for 3 months, it was paid for and just sitting.

I have a favor to ask ... since it is impossible to keep the Fbodfather off the internet, can we possibly call a truce for 48 hours to give him a chance to rest up from his little cardiac procedure? Can we all go 48 hours without being so negative. The Fbodfather is important to all of us and we want to keep him around a whole lot longer. Please let's try to keep his blood pressure down for a couple of days while he recovers. Am I asking too much?

Just a note...he is supposed to be "off work for 2 weeks". So please don't encourage him to work.

Janet

Seriously people. 3 years ago, we were having the same EXACT conversations. Look where we are now. All the pre-order cars were delivered without issues and right now the Camaro is the highest selling pony car on the market.
Let's all step back from the keyboard and relax. The ZL1s will be delivered when GM feels the product accurately represents the quality they want to portray from the company.
