C5 Owners Roll At Atlanta Motor Speedway
C5 owners gathered Saturday evening at Atlanta Motor Speedway for a worthy cause, to raise money for breast cancer research. The event was sponsored by the Corvettes Serving America Foundation. Approximately twenty 5th gen Camaros from Georgia, Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina, and Virginia rolled in to strut their stuff on the track. Camaro owners purchased laps and then took to the track at speeds reported to reach 123 mph. Participants also included Corvettes (too numerous to count), Vipers, Challengers, a Mustang or two, and a few other models. It was a blast just to listen to all the power and watch everyone’s enthusiasm. C5 Member, Toyaholic, captured the excitement and spirit of the event in his video: Skidpuppy, another C5 member, captured his laps around the track in this video: The crowd was treated to a detail clinic courtesy of the Junkman. The Junkman even took the course to roll with the Camaros (check out the Junkman’s video of his laps around the track. You don’t want to miss it: Thanks to the C5 owners who made it out. If you missed out this year, be sure to look for this event next year. It’s an experience you won’t forget. Thanks to the CSA Foundation for inviting the 5th gen owners. The event was well organized, well staffed, and expertly run. All participants are encouraged to post their pics here. Last edited by musclecargirl; 10-13-2010 at 09:31 PM. Is this something that they did just for this year letting Camaro's in. If not please post when they do this again. I think it would have been a blast to do this.

What is Junkman driving in the video? Is it a Corvette? I could tell it wasnt a Camaro by the way he was talking and you couldnt see the cowl of the Camaro i'm thinking its a Vette. That was a fun video to watch =)
