yeah, while installing my Halos, I set the bumper/fascia assembly ON THE BARE FLOOR instead of a BLANKET and it got scratched REALLY bad...I attempted to fix it, several times and now unless you KNOW it's there (like ME) you can't tell it...:upset:

More times than I can remember, but it's when you have extra parts left over you start to wonder WTF.

Mine biggest was removing my entire front end to put on the vertical door hinges, and then holding my breath while cutting the inner fender to make room for the hinges.. probably the most "Oh shit" moment.

Yes.. I did..
With all my success on my car with plasti-dip, I thought that I'd remove the stock vinyl hood stripes and plasti-dip them on. My problem is when I decided to use rattlecan satin black to paint them on instead. My tape job was fine.. but I learned that it was too large of an area to do a rattlecan job effectively.. needed an HLVP setup and a 1-stage professional auto paint. Luckily, I have a friend who owns a body shop and was able to help me out.. Still cost me $1,000... but that also included painting all my stripes on and the rear black out. Turned out ok, and I now have the painted stripes I've been wanting. But I had to sacrifice the money I saved for my headers to do it.

The "oh shit" moment i would get the most is when i would accidently hit the gas instead of the brake lol
