Porting the TB will give you better throttle response. I've had it done to an 05 Corvette and my 2010 SS.

My car really woke up at about 14k miles, my best track time was actually with everything stock except for rear trailing arms and that was a 12.8 at Phoenix. I have since added a few mods, but I can't seem to find the traction to get back into the 12's. Of course I am still on the stock tires that probably aren't as soft as they once were and I haven't been back to a track with that low of elevation either.

I’ve got a 2010 2SS, LS3/6M and mines just opposite. It has 20k miles on it and I’ve owned it since 2k and it’s been strong from the beginning. I’ve done absolutely nothing to it except change the oil. I also have a 69 Camaro SS that runs 11.90s, on slicks and open headers and 12.50s on street tires and mufflers. My 2010 feels every bit as fast my 69. And it’s not just me, everyone I’ve had in it, tells me that they can’t believe how much power it has. I have a buddy who has a 2012 2SS, LS3/6M . I’ve driven his and mine feels like it has an extra 50 horsepower over his. I’ve often wondered why this is. I thought that maybe it was the break-in thing, but mine was very strong at 2k miles. And then I thought that maybe GM had somehow de-tuned them in 2011 or 2012. Sometimes I think that maybe it’s the way he babies his, but I’m not sure. If you guys figure it out, let me know.
