If these are the new tail lights I kinda like them but not enough to make me want to trade in my car to get this one. Seems to me that everyone has overlooked the fact that the new front fascia has less of an overhang above the headlights which translates into +5hp since it's more aerodynamic. Maybe +5 more for the removal of the mail slot.

That being said there is no reason to say there won't be a mid year special edition model that may have the LS7 or other engine choice. Stay tuned, we may get more information at the ACTUAL REVEAL tomorrow.
Notwithstanding your dealer buddy's revelation, I don't think anybody was expecting major changes. Changes to the front and rear and maybe some powertrain updates was about all anyone was expecting. Nevertheless even these minor changes are a major deal to 62% of the board that hate them.

This is the new 2014 stingray as-is:
Attachment 489688

This is what I would have liked to have seen for the front grille:
Attachment 489689

Just a bit smaller, classier and less of a sawzall-attacks-front-of-car look.

I'm not crazy about the new tail lights on this Camaro refresh; the new rear spoiler looks pretty nice though. I actually liked the 5th gen tail lights and just wish they'd gone with the afterburner look like the concept car had. These new tail lights look like a corporate committee got involved in the design; nothing bold or exciting unfortunately.

This refresh is "okay"... it'll probably spark some sales; especially for the V6 which got a nice uptick in hp. I'm disappointed they didn't raise the V8 hp the same way. 450 hp would have been nice.

Glad this isn't the style the Z/28 is going to be. I REALLY hope they break away from "me too" styling trendiness for the 6th gen Camaro and stick to the heart of what a Camaro is; wild and untamed, the way they did with the 5th gen concept/production car. AND get somebody with some guts who'll pick some bold exciting colors for the next gen cars.

Do you know something about the hp bump that we dont? havent heard about what the specific bumps were gonna be and if there will be any at all. All i have seen is a tweet about checking out the new performance enhanced camaro. But no details on numbers

Yeah no kidding - now they can price gouge us on more overpriced aftermarket products...

first, more chrome = more SUCK.

next, that thing in the hood? NO.

Taillights? Reminds me of an old Toyota or Acura Integra or Honda Civic, or other indiscriminate turd-on-wheels.

.
No horsepower increase for the V6. Same 323hp it's had since 2012.

I'm speachless.....allmost. So glad I got my '13.

The tailights look like a '93 Lexas SC. WTH? And no upgrade to the console/plastic???

That is the one thing I really dislike about my car. Paint the console/gauge cluster for god's sake! Or hydrocoat it!
