Yes I back in about half the time. Pulling in is easier at night so I do that. But sometimes scuff backing out.
I have been trying different angels and think I have a better angel backing out of the driveway.

I would be able to back in more often if not for that dang going back to no Daylight savings time.

Yes, I need to buff out the bottom of the valiance or replace until I get my driveway ingress / egress corrected.

I have to many years in Mr Wyndhams neck of the woods driving trucks with shovels on the front of them to get use to a low clearance vehicle.

Just to clarify, I did not rip it off at home. It as was a place I work at sometimes with a piece of threaded rod sticking through a concrete curb.

Thanks

Edited from PC as my reply from my phone looked to make no sense. Sorry.

I just got my 2014 camaro, and it's too low to go over the parking curbs. I just make sure that I stay a foot or so away from the curb and I am good! I haven't attempted backing in yet... will have to try that one day. Got her yesterday with 8 miles on it and already have 111 miles on her! Best of luck to you!

i have a 98 firebird with the ground effects. i have had it 16 years. i would swear another car i woiuld not have another spoiler/ground effects in front. i like the look of the camaro front splitters, but i would never consider for the reasons above. there are times you wont be able to back in or take the time, and a curb will get you every time. i have reglued my firebird front a hundred times. and if i dont scuff it up, the service folks who ever service my car will scuff it up. i gave up long ago. its just not practical on a every day car. there are just situations, oparking, driveways, that will get the car front messed up. just impratical i think to have those splitters.

I try to park about a foot short of every parking bumper. If I am parking next to another car, I try to look for my reflection off their door or front quarter panel.

Steep driveways are a problem with the front splitter. I try to take it at an angle to prevent the front from scraping.

Wanna know something really messed up? A local chevy dealer (probably the worst in the NY state) has all of their new '14's right up against the parking curb in front of the dealership. I've passed by a few times and I just

The previous owner of my zl1 scratched the low splitter, in the center and right and left side... makes me angry people dont know how to park... i Back in every time. Or park where there is no curb.

If you can not stop from scraping the screws off, you can use the washers to protect the splitter
