Clear Bra

I am looking to have a clear bar installed and ran across this site. I remember reading it being pretty expensive so is this legit? http://www.nusolis.com/products/Chev...-Mega-Kit.html

Ya, that's dirt cheap so I would have to wonder about the quality of the material they supply.

That looks like a scam to me. I just had an Xpel Ultimate clear bra installed and it came out amazing. Fill in the info for the ZL1 in the link and this will show you how much a quality bra actually costs that won't mess up your paint and wont turn yellow in a year or two. They offer various sections of the nose in pre-cut pieces depending on how much you want to spend.

This just provides the material for a DIY. This should be done by an expert, it's very labor-intensive and that's where most of the cost comes in. Find someone who does this for a living, and let them cut the material themselves. But be prepared to pay hundreds of dollars. In my mind, it's well worth it.

Wow! That's a huuuuuuuuge difference in price! It must be Scotch Tape they're using on the link I posted.

So I take it it's the near equivalent to a good window tint job?

Here in NC we pay about 550 to get the front bumper and mirrors done. They are laser cut on a machine and fit perfect. The guy doing the install is really good. He does alot of high end sports cars and has done 3 of my cars so far. It really saves on rock chips.

Get Xpel Ultimate installed by a professional.

Stay away from that cheap "saran wrap" stuff.

Check with them about the the warranty they offer with it and the materials they use. I had a great deal of my car done and they guaranteed it against yellowing and any defects for a period of ten years. Mine turned out great. You cant even tell its on there.

I posted this to show him the difference in price. It also gives you a reference point when getting a quote on it being professionally installed. I had it done professionally and it came out great. Came with a 10 year warranty

+1

They can also make pieces for any part of the car that isn't listed. Got mine done and love it. You have to be very close up and personal to even see it at all. I look at it as an investment for the car. Yes Xpel was pricey but worth every penny. Just my 2 cents
