Hey all!

I've been noticing that my 6L80E transmission has been getting hotter than normal lately during spirited driving. It gets above the half way mark of 180 degrees. I would say around 210 sometimes. Should I be concerned?

Hey bro I'm from STL too! My temps hover around 180 +/- 10 degrees depending on if I'm in traffic or on the highway. When there is traffic it tends to heat up more. But it seems normal. Never above 210 for me.

I would hover 180 before I supercharged. Then I started peaking at 210 after the supercharger. Added a trans cooler immediately. Now hover at 170

I definitely need a trans cooler sometime soon just to be safe.
