Why upgrade license plate lights? Makes zero sense. Now they can run your plate much easier.

If a cop is having trouble reading your plate you're going to get pulled over just for that. Having a white light instead of yellow just looks nicer. Unless you're driving a stolen car and they read the plate because of that, then you'll be fine.

Agreed. White matches your front halo... If you have them of course but even if you don't it just makes the car a little nicer than usual.

Because bright white looks better than dull warm white . It illuminates the plate better and the bulb will last longer than an incandescent bulb. I'm not out doing anything illegal, so I don't mind having my license plate lit up.

I have bright white led bulbs for license plate lights on my Camaro that I bought five or six years ago. Cheap Chinese bulbs bought on eBay. I had them on my previous car. Removed them just before trade in, then put then on the Camaro. I think I paid $12 for something like 50 194 LED bulbs. Surprisingly, they all still work.

I recommend Diode Dynamic for all your lighting mods too!!

I just got my footwell lights, dome lights, trunk lights, and license plate lights all from Diode Dynamic. Awesome customer service and high quality LED bulbs!! Can't be happier.

I emailed contact@diodedynamics.com, and got very fast response. Literally like 10mins for each response. He responded me 8 times in one afternoon for all the questions I have for the LED bulbs and was very helpful.

But I do admit, that the representative on our camaro5 forum is a little bit slow on responding. But I got very good customer service with emailing contact@diodedynamics.com.
