Has anyone ever paint matched there wicker bill to the color of their car?

As title says, has anyone paint matched their wickerbill to the car? I have a summit and was thinking about painting the black part of the wickerbill also summit white, can anyone do some Photoshop?

The plastic part that you can put on the back of a spoiler. I personally have not seen any color matched, i prefer the clear/matte black combo.

I think part of the reason they are see through is to minimize rearward visibility obstruction.

They sure mess up the look of a Camaro IMO. Reminds me of the saying:

Looks good actually. I was thinking this would look like crap but I actually like the paint matched wickerbill.

I do have a question. Why the 1LE badge on a non 1LE? I assume it has the GM 1LE suspension but isnt a true 1LE?

Thanks Harry 16! I know there are several suppliers of Wickerbill Spoilers on the market. Check Amazon, E-BAY or any of the Composite Panel makers for our cars.
I mocked my Wickerbill Spoiler by using poster board as a template. I purchased the @1/8in thick aluminum from a local Race Car builder. Having a friend with an English Wheel helped with the final contouring. It took a little nerve to drill the first Holes into the Factory Painted Spoiler but it worked. Used 1/4 x 20 Riv Nuts that compressed to 3mm. Found Anodized Fender Washers on Amazon as well as Stainless Set Screws to secure the Spoiler. 3-M Heavy Duty Trim Adhesive Tape was put between the Wickerbill and Spoiler to insure strength. Good Luck with your project and remember sometimes Less is Less! You just have to please yourself!

Superfly,

Thanks! Had to make it look like it came from the factory! I have worked for GM for 34 yrs.

Appreciate your kind words!

It took some soul searching to pull the trigger to make the Spoiler and Painting it Body Color! No regrets what so ever!!!!! I think it is in good taste and does not take away from the natural good looks of the Camaro.

Good Eye on the 1-LE Emblem. It has had the Factory 1-LE Suspension Pkg. installed by GM, as well as the 1-LE Strut Tower Brace. It has 4-Square Wheels and Tires 20 X 9 Wheels and 285x35x20 Tire combination. 391 Gears are also installed, Hurst Short Throw Shifter and 1-LE Steering Wheel.
Not born a true 1-LE at the Factory but pretty close!!!
I am not trying to fool anyone. Factory Stripes are still present as well as the personalized Plates tell it all: MIS-FIT SS.

I agree totally...especially with the exposed rivets...makes it look like a tacky afterthought....doesn't look factory stock at all....NOT for me!!
