Oil prices spike upwards and gas prices at the pump spike overnight.

Oil prices go down and we don't see it at the pump for days or weeks.

Actually about 14. Look at the overall increase, was 78 went to 92. Not sure how it all affects us here,U.S. tied to Brent and us I think. in Kali with the shutdowns, summer formula and the summer season we never know why and where we are getting screwed.

It is $3.53 here for 93. Not sure what it was yesterday. All I know is when I passed the gas station it was packed. Either everyone was getting ready to go travelling or something what up.

speculation works both ways. one of the primary reasons prices have been dropping is because the "speculation" has been that prices would drop. the "greedy slimy speculators" as you call them have been betting on lower crude and gas, not higher.

just where do you get your data from?

"brent crude futures rose more than $6 a barrel to near $98 while U.S. crude jumped by more than $7 to settle just below $85 a barrel "

A lot of stuff here is bass-ackwards...lol...kind of the dirty little secret about gas prices here, the higher they are the more sales tax is added...So for the broke state treasury, the higher the better...lol

Just a word to the wise, if you have a Kroger near you and a shell that accepts the points, go to Kroger and get a $50 or 100 shell gift card, go to shell use points and enjoy .10 or .20c off each gallon
