Custom coil covers

Hello All,

Does anyone know the part number or a place to get stock replacement coil covers? I’m talking about the black plastic covers on the left and right sides of the engine over the valve covers. I see a few people doing custom colors to the super charger lid or swapping that out all together. I like the stock one so I will leave that alone. I have a though of making the coil covers red but don’t want to modify the originals. I have been unable to locate a company selling ones already done or some aftermarket versions. I don’t want carbon fiber. I think the red covers will give the engine bay a little detail while not being over done. It will also tie the engine compartment in with the red seat belts and calipers. My plan is to get a new set and paint those. This way I can always go back to original if I so desire.

Thanks for the help,

Rod

So... I was not able to find any aftermarket company doing coil covers for the LT4 in the Camaro. I ended up ordering a set from my local dealer. Sent them to my friend’s body shop and had them painted to match the calipers. I think this came out exceptionally well. The engine compartment needed something to tie it into the rest of the car and give it a bit of flare without looking overly done.

Thank you for the input but those are valve covers. I was after a set of the plastic covers over the coils. I found plenty for corvettes but none for the Camaro.

I think Vengeance racing has them. They have the Vengeance name on them. They look good.

Nope. The Z06 coil covers are different from the ZL1 covers because of the dry vs wet sump.

Look up Katech, they've got a pretty sweet valve cover/coil relocation kit.

I have a 2019 ZL1. Is there anyone that sells the stock coil covers for it besides the dealer? I want a pair to have custom painted.

I wasn’t able to find them except for the dealer or a GM supplier online. I was able to get mine painted at a local body shop. Went with red to tie in the red calipers and seat belts.
