MRR M017 Wheels for HPDE

I've been out of the game a couple years since my engine let go at Streets of Willow. Finished building my monster NA 427 last year but then moved to PACNORWEST. Finally in a position to get back on the track but need to get some real rubber under the car. 575rwhp is too much for stock SS wheel/tire combo. Would like to go Forgeline but not in the budget so now I am looking at MRR as a possible solution. Any inputs on how they hold up, fit, or anything else? Looking to run the 20x10 front and 20x11 rear. Car is lowered ~1.25". Thanks.

There cast just like our SS wheels and most don't recommend for tracking. Plus there heavy now they have a set of rotary forged that are a compromise between true cast and true forged with a decent price tag.

Looked to me like they are advertised as rotary formed like most of the other aftermarket wheels we are seeing and the weight were reasonable as well at and advertised 25lbs.

Ok I'm interested. Whose running them and who's selling them?

Scratch that. Price quote is too rich for my blood. Basically coming in the same as Forgelines which I'd like to run but $$$.

I've been running the MRR FS01's for the last couple of years. The are flow forged and fairly light. No problems at all. If you have any interest I'll be selling my 19x10 fronts and replacing them with 11's. $300 per wheel. They are gloss black.

Pretty sure I'm going with Z M017 staggered setup. Just shopping around before I approach "the boss" for some funds.

2017 1LE Wheels on 2011 SS

Well I was planning on the MRRs and then someone was trying to talk me out of running them on the track. Was in a quandary about what to run and then, factory 2017 1LEs came into the picture.

So they fit perfectly? Got pics of how much they stick out of the fenders?

I think they are going to be good. Car is slightly lower which will be good on the track but might make parking lots a bit more challenging. I've still got to get out and check lock to lock, suspension compression, etc on a drive but fender clearance was the biggest concern and it doesn't look to be an issue at all.

Well the fit is good. On the test drive the feedback at the steering wheel is incredible. steering input is "right now". I think driving this car on the track is going to be fun once I learn the car's capabilities and can read the feedback. Almost like getting behind the wheel of a totally different car. Oh, and MUCH more rear grip. I was able to roll into the throttle much harder before the rear kicked loose.
