Skip Shift?

I just thought about something... On my 2000 camaro it had a skip shift. (I do not know if this is the right term or not) It was really annoying. Does anyone know if this will be on the new one or not? Sorry if this has already been asked.

Yes. But apparantly it's really easy to fix. Don't ask me how though.

It is not very intrusive on the Camaro.

I would assume it'll be the same part for the Camaro. There are other manufacturers that make the same thing...

There is a shift gate lockout that forces your shift from 1st to 4th, instead of 2nd, under light acceleration. If you're "punching it", you'll still go from 1st to 2nd like you normally would.

Keeps us out of a 1500-2000 dollar gas tax buddy. Take it or leave it. It's a good deal 25 bucks to remove saving you tons.

My GTO has this, but it cost like $20 and takes about 5 minutes to get rid of it. I didn't like it because in the city with traffic where you have to use light acceleration I almost got rear ended several times before I got rid of it.

I would suggest just buying the skip shift eliminator, it was worth it.

Drive it first. I drove the SS for three days before I noticed it even had it.

It only occurs on light throttle low rpm shifts. Shift over 2000 rpm and you will hardly notice it or accelerate hard and you will never notice it.

Seriously, I've driven a lot of cars with CAGS and this is the least intrusive car I've ever driven with it.
