Since its being promoted as a track car, how do you think insurance companies will handle it.

Stay away from it, add a surcharge, or rider, etc.

I don't see it as being any different as a ZL1 for insurance purposes.

...Don't think it will be much of a factor...The biggest unknown, purchase price, will affect the comprehensive for total loss and/or replacement...imo...

This is a striped down track and and being promoted as that. Which means most who buy it will track it. Insurance companies and track cars do not get along.

Think about this, though...even our ss's have comp-mode strictly for the track...These cars have been around for years already, and it was no secret they could be raced...Hasn't seemed to have much impact insurance wise that I've noticed...

Z/28 is still over-all a street legal car, probably won't see the track anymore than the ZL1's or 1LE's or even the SS's do...don't think insurance will be all bent out of shape over it with another "track-able" car....
