2017 1LE Wheels on 2011 SS
A little surprised I haven't seen more posts of the 1LE wheel on the 5th Gen. So I lucked out on an OEM setup last weekend and really improved the look of the car! Hoping the track performance will be as good as the look. Certainly going to be better than the stock 245/275 Pirelli setup. The car handled decent with all the Pfadt suspension it had but the push in the corners really held the car back. 2" of additional tread on a better tire should transform the car completely on the track. Those are the wheels that are on my wish list, though I will probably get the reproductions since the OEM wheels are probably crazy expensive. I'm sure they are a night and day difference over stock wheels and tires.

Specs already posted but actually they didn't poke which the rimsntires calculator said they would. Fit is very good though the low car is now even a little lower so header collector is at risk for some scraping if I'm not careful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A major part of the 5th gen 1LE package was the wheels and tires. Combined with the improved suspension components made a far better handling car than the SS. Your new 6th gen setup is very similar, different offset up front and bigger tire in back. Also G3's instead of G2's. No wonder you feel like you have a new car.

Yeah they ended up bringing the car down about ¾" overall. I need to reprogram for the speedometer though.

I just bought some of these for my 2010 SS did you have to get anything extra for these to fit on the 5th gen?
