Wow.... I can't believe how much the 21" wheel/tire package is! It bumped my SS to over 40k and that's with the GMS.... Kinda wondering if it's worth it now. Although $40,000 is what I have been prepared to pay.... Hmm... this is going to be a tough decision to make. Or not. What do you guys think? Are the painted 21's worth it?

Thanks for posting this price sheet..... there is absolutely no way on earth anyone here should even be paying MSRP on the day your Camaro comes in. If you all go into the dealer carying this price guide with you, stand firm and be willing to neggotiate hard, you should be able to get at least a thousand off of the total MSRP.
What I'm really asking is for each of you who've already ordered and will be ordering very shortly is not to blindly walk into the dealer when the car comes and simply and happily pay MSRP. You see the numbers, you know what the dealers are making off the car. Neggotiate and save yourself some cash. |

If anything, knowing these figures will make you less likely to negotiate hard. Did anyone think the dealer was making less before seeing the actual invoice prices? In my experience people think dealer margins are much wider than they actually are.
Margin on the base price is only 6%. Margin on options is a more generous 17%--but there aren't many options for this car. That said, $1,000 off probably isn't too much to hope for unless demand is well above supply. In the end, the price will come down to whether GM keeps supply in line with demand...or not. |

Man! Mines came up to 43,220. But it's really worth it. There is no limit on money when it comes to the brand new Camaro.

I myself ordered my 2SS/RS on Monday and I will be paying MSRP for it. I could probably negotiate a lower price but I am not hurting for money and will support the dealer that I am going through and hope that the sales person gets something extra for selling at MSRP. I am in sales myself and I appreciate making some money on a deal that I am working on and don't like it when I get cut down to to the last cent of profit. I can't speak for anyone but myself but I am ok with paying MSRP. Now the dealers that are going above that - thats another issue.......

Oh dear sweet Moses this includes PEP Pricing!
My 'maro is going to be a steal! $29,290 for 2SS/RS w/ stripe package. YAY! Edit: also I don't see the blade spoiler listed... is that going to be an over the counter accessory??

adding to the other military discount questions...
According to prior Chevy sales, what pricing should I be looking at to compare the Military Discount? Employee Discount? Dealer price? Dealer invoice price? This will help me determine a few changes. Thanks. |

I think the label of "High Wing Spoiler" should be a clue.

Here ya go, let the eBay madness begin! They claim they are selling at MSRP but not over, we'll see about that I guess. Also, they say the V-6 is the only model available initially. I haven't heard that one, but then I don't read every thread here...
