stock ls3 vs. a ls9 w/ no charger?

So what is the big difference between these two motors besides the obvious supercharger? I guess maybe the internals are forged, but how far did they take it? I guess maybe i'm saying what would be cheaper; a ls3 turned into a replica "ls9" with similar parts and same supercharger, or a ls9 crate motor swap? I think it's cool the ls9 is going to be crate, but wouldn't a simple Eaton twin screw or something like it put out the same numbers for a huge price difference? Could someone fill me in?

well the ls9 has titanium rods, forged dished pistons, oil squirters, 12mm head bolts instead of 11mm, thicker head gaskets, and i think thats about all the major points. If i missed anything guys just fill them in

even so, wouldn't all those mods still be cheaper than a crate motor + the extras to get it running in your 'maro?

I would guess yes as you wouldn't have to buy everything ..

Does anyone know how close the internals are between the LS3 and the LSX?
