AFR/Lambda gauge selection

Pulled my old AEM AFR gauge with an LSU 4.2 sensor off my old car (4-cylinder) that has been sitting, was going to put it on the Camaro, turns out it's only going into the garbage now. Started looking at new gauges, was leaning towards the AEM x-series with the OBDII because of the ease of plug and play with HPT. Then I got to thinking about two separate exhaust banks. Then started looking at 2-channel gauges but I am doubting I really need it. Near future is just bolt-ons, maybe a S/C down the road but nothing super aggressive.

What AFR/Lambda gauges are people running and thoughts on the needs of 2-channel vs not. I think I'm over thinking this and inducing quite a lot of

I have the AEM x-series with the OBDII and really like it with the ability to piggyback the HP tuner. I thought just like you wanted one for both banks and most people said no need. My thoughts where if one bank got out of wack(to rich or lean) it would be a good safety net as I'd know to shut it down. Some suggestions where I could piggyback 2 of the AEM's on the OBDII port. My thought was I already have to be careful when I piggyback the tuner as to not knock it loose when getting in and out of the car.
Be interested in seeing what you decide and how it works out.

If I was researching I would stick with Lambda. I took my AEM “AFR” gauge apart and converted it which is quite easy. Works great and provides all the reference data needed.

Guess they figured could make more money by selling separate face plates
Bezels to since I ordered the one to match the dash.

AEM 30-0334. Comes with a canbus connector that will let HPTuners record the wideband readings. No messing with breakout harnesses. I only have 1 sensor, no real need for two unless you're running a very high HP build.

There's really no need for two with bolt ons. Move the sensor between banks if you're concerned

Yea I'm pretty sure this is where I have settled. I was just over thinking it and making something big out of something not.
