Just ordered NPP for my 2010 SS

Just found a pretty good deal on a 2013 ZL1 Dual Mode Exhaust. I went ahead and pulled the trigger, I can't wait to get it installed. I hope the install goes smoothly.

For anyone who has done this before can I use the existing screws and hardware for the install or will I need to order anything else aside from the diffuser and vacuum kit?

Everything else is reusable, straight bolt on. I see you have an L99, are you tuned? If not when AFM kicks in this exhaust is going to sound really crappy. That is why it's not offered on auto SS's.

I just did the same in my 2013. Straight bolt on. You will need to tune out the AFM or use the Range V8 device that plugs into OBC port. I used my own mechanical vacuum pump system to control the activators. The exhaust sounds great!

Thanks for the heads up guys. I'll probably end up getting the range and the do a tune once my warranty expires.

I programmed the remote to the Homelink. So now, I can use the remote or the garage opener buttons.

Have you hooked up your NPP in a box? I got a kit too. Just wondering if anyone else has successfully done the install.

Look in to getting the EZ tap option. Whoever you bought the NPP in a box from should be able to get it. Otherwise, you should be able to tap in to any vacuum line.

I already have it. And it didn't come with the EZ tap. What other vacuum lines are there to tap?

I am curious. Where do the vacuum lines get connected to on an L99? Or don't they and if not how are the actuators controlled?

The spot is on the back of the intake on the passenger side. If you feel back there it is right past a flat piece of plastic. It sticks out with and feels like a T. you just twist that part off and put the plastic hose over it. I have installed it on my 05 corvette and double checked the intake on my Camaro. It is all there
