What do you think about double din?

Has anyone gone to a double din mount using the Metra kit or other means? How difficult was it to make the change? Was it worth it? Pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is one done very recently.

swap was not overly difficult, but not something I would recommend to a beginner.
