First Post, just bought 2021 ZL1

HI!!

I have just finalized the purchase of a blue 2021 ZL1 and have ordered the SC reservoir tank and the roto fab CAI

I dont want to mess to much with the warranty but wondering if there were other MUST have things you guys suggest.

Unfortunately I had to purchase the vehicle from a dealer in ALBERTA Canada and am working on shipping it to Nova Scotia. You know just 3000 miles on a truck, i hope they hit good weather and no hail!!!

this should be a pic of it in the showroom. It was extremely hard to find one of these cars, I could only find a few in Canada!

LOL

Ok so start a tire fund!!! Got it. Will I get a "year" out of a set of tires you think? I dont plan to track the car at this point. Everything is closed with COVID anyways.

A sports car year in Nova Scotia is about April to October / maybe Nov if you push it. Otherwise the tires will just be too cold.

UNLESS I put on all season tires.............this seems wrong somehow.

Congratulations and Riverside Blue is a color I like. I noticed that it has a ZLE rear wing that must have been an option. Enjoy the new hotrod and that Roto-Fab CAI will make a difference in the supercharger whine and improvement in throttle response!

Just a quick question, some dealers install the 1LE rear spoiler on regular ZL1s? Never seen that before, beautiful car by the way, welcome to the family!

Nice looks good in that color.

I really think that the 1LE wing should be the standard wing, or if not then the standard one should integrate with the trunk lid better, like on the 5th gen.

Mine also had to come from a dealership in Alberta (Calgary area), except mine was in a container for a couple months; no rain on the high seas

I know you’re not planning on tracking, but just to give you an idea.

19” Michelin a/s +3 Run Flats 285/35’ that are mounted on MRR M716 10’s and 11’s Last lap of day at Road America October 2019. Below freezing windchills.
Lap starts at 1:25 on these tires.

Congratulations I love that color, make sure you tell them to use an enclosed trailer to transport that beauty.

I think that spoiler is a very expensive option on the regular ZL1.

Congratulations on the purchase.
As Pupilbone said these cars are difficult to find up here. My dealer sales lady did not know what I was ordering. Her exact words after checking with the district sales manager were “what you are trying to get is a unicorn” LOL.
Nice colour you have there. I’m almost 100% positive That you can now order the bigger wing without having to purchase the 1LE package. I’m sure that is what this dealer did.
Hope the car gets to you safely.

To each their own, I don't like the 5th Gen spoiler and I don't love the 1LE wing either, I think the standard ZL1 wing is perfect other than it looks best in carbon fiber to match the hood insert.
