i usually take my C5 on road trips, and i can't tell you how many naps/nights i've slept in the car. slide the passenger seat forward, lean it back, wrap up in a blanket, & use my jacket as a pillow against the window. boom.
the truck... not as comfortable. i could imagine the 5th gen being a little more roomy for stretching out, and i know your seats're more comfortable

Can't say that I have; but my wife does all the time especially on long trips, says it's very comfortable

Never, Plus the fact that napping on breaks including lunch is grounds for Immediate Dismissal where I work.

this made me laugh....I am an assistant scoutmaster for my son's troop. Last fall they went on a campout and I had to work late so I drove the camaro out to the site about an hour away. I packed my tent but no poles (dumba##) I spent Friday and Saturday night in the car. Slept very well thank you and I am 6' 2"

Oh, I totally prefer my bed! But it takes me 30 minutes to get home and by the time I would get home I'd have to turn around to go back to work. :P

The seats in the ‘14 convertible won’t recline enough to be comfortable in my opinion. That being said, my wife frequently naps while I drive.

I’ve wondered what it would be like to lay the back seats down and use the trunk for extra room to stretch out

Haha Not quite. Hospital. Policy says no sleeping on the premises no mater if its your time or not. They even walk the parking lot and check the cars. I think you get 1 warning before they can you.
